“Pakistani Taliban detonated bombs at the campaign offices of two politicians in the country’s northwest on Sunday, police said, killing at least nine people in an escalation of attacks on secular, left-leaning political parties. The Islamist and center-right political parties have been spared by the Taliban and have been holding big public rallies without fear of being attacked. They largely support peace talks with the Taliban instead of military offensives.”
The targeted politicians weren’t in the offices when the bomb went off. Either the Taliban’s intelligence data sucks or the purpose was just to scare.
“A Johns Hopkins University research project examined 350,000 malpractice claims over 25 years and found mistakes affecting nearly 160,000 US patients annually. Diagnostic errors were the greatest source of mistakes. Adjusted for inflation, they comprised a 35.2% share of all claims and paid out $38.8 billion. And resulted in death in about 40% of the cases.”
Ooopps! I left the scalpel inside, sorry!
